RMV PBN 25 CONCEPT EXCLUSIVE

These characteristics make that the RMV Concept has a proper personality when compared with the instruments made with traditional wood in drums.
More high the density of the wood in the drum, deeper will be its resonance, resulting in a full timbre and with balance among basic frequencies. However, nor all the dense wood can be used successfully in the construction of a drum since the hardness is another essential factor structurally and in the sound definition.
The attack and the final volume will be bigger and more aggressive how much bigger it will be the hardness of the wood. Few wood are so perfect for the construction of a drum as Bapeva.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE SHELL
To construct a solid and uniform shell from a wood of characteristics extreme, RMV developed the exclusive system TDSM - Thermo-Dynamic Shell Molding with equipment that pressures the wood up to 5,5 bar and gradual raises temperature to 100ºC, resulting in a precise conformation and guaranteeing the rigidity and geometric stability of the body. The final glue is made with an adhesive formulates also exclusive and developed by RMV.
